The 2023 season for the marching band has come to an end. The show theme was “Dia De Los Muertos” and the band competed at 4 competitions this year. The band went through joy and pride as they preformed at Metlife Stadium on November 4, 2023 for nationals. Here are the competition places:
Ludwig competition: 5th place
Old Bridge competition: 1st place: winning captions for – best color guard, best effect, best percussion, best visual, best music
States: 4th place
Nationals: 10th place
After performing at Metlife Stadium, the band sat down and enjoyed amazing food made by the band parents celebrating their successful year of competing.

Following the end of the 2023 Marching Band season, on November 14, 2023 at Muhammad Ali School #23 the marching band gathered to celebrate the accomplishments and final remarks of all students. Leading the ceremony was Ms. Casterlow-Lalla as well as the two drum majors Alicia Julmisse and Marilyn Perez. The first 3 awards at the ceremony were given to the Co- Band directors Mr. Keith Place and Ms. Russell, as well as the special guest Mr. Christopher Rusca. The following awards were given to 3 amazing band parents who helped throughout the season as well. Ending the night the last awards were given to the 113 Marching Band students, including the Marching band Seniors:
