Passaic Prep was represented by a group of high school students at the Passaic County Spring Teen Summit event at William Paterson University in Wayne on May 29.
The Passaic County Teen Summit event is held biannually, both in the fall and spring. Each year, an estimated total of 250 students attend from 25 high schools, each representing their county. This event is used as a way to promote mental health and substance abuse awareness through activities and guest speakers. The cohort was accompanied by counselors Ms. Mold and Ms. Fontalvo.
Among the cohorts were Passaic High School and the Passaic Academy for Science and Engineering (PASE), who each submitted their individual projects. Students at this event submitted a 30-second PSA (Public Service Announcement) regarding this year’s theme: “Generation Glow: The Light Adults Don’t Always See.” See the completed video, above!
