If you’ve ever struggled to stay awake in class, you’ll love “Tired,” a short film by Prep senior Emily Diaz.

The film is about a student in their senior year, struggling to stay motivated. The film, which last 5:40, stars senior Veronica Sanchez as Rebecca, senior Zuleika Luna Nunez as Olivia, senior Hansel Villar as Student #1, senior Karen Vaquero as Student #2, and teacher Ms. Johnston as Ms. Jones.

As a senior herself, this topic is knowingly related by the script writer, Emily Diaz, as well as students worldwide. While creating this film, multiple students inspired the topic with their experiences. The purpose of this film is for students to connect and come together to motivate each other. Rebecca and Olivia shared a similar problem, but decided to handle it on their own.
