On Sunday, Oct. 8, the Passaic Youth Council hosted its 4th annual Mental Health Awareness Walk. Passaic Prep students marched the streets of Passaic with one message: Mental health is important and should be talked about in our communities! The walk was started by Prep Class of 2022 graduate, Amy Zarebczan, and has become a tradition for Passaic youth to carry on.
Passaic Mayor Hector C. Lora was there as well and spoke in support of the walk.
If you or anyone you know is struggling with mental health, visit the NIMH. The national hotline for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is 988.
