You win some and lose some. In football, pride is important, too.

In the time of Covid-19, when pride is hard to come by, there was plenty of pride for the Passaic football team on Sept. 10, from the award-winning Marching Band playing loudly and proudly, to the cheerleaders cheering on their side, and the crowd of supporters shouting for their team.

On the eve of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on America, the Passaic High School football team lost to Perth Amboy, 39-17.

The game took place after a moment of silence to honor those lost in the attacks.

Despite the loss, it was a great game and everyone in attendance enjoyed the experience as Passaic fell to 1-1 on the season.
