Prep middle school election results: New President elected
Eighth-grader Alison Ramos is Prep’s first middle school SGA President
The results are in for the winners of the Passaic Preparatory Academy middle schools elections!
The new President of the Middle School at Prep is eighth-grader Alison Ramos. The Vice President will be Jessica Latorre, who ran unopposed. They are now the representatives of the Student Government Association (SGA), an organization formed and run by Ms. Fontanella and Mr. Mikolajczyk to give middle-school aged students representation at Prep.
A total of 208 students voted from sixth, seventh and eighth grades. Also running for President were seventh-graders Lizbeth Sanchez and Yadira Gonzalez.
Elections were held last Friday at Prep. Shortly after the candidates were announced, the advisors of the SGA created a Google Form that was distributed in social studies classes.
Congratulations to the winners, from The Boulevard Online!
