Prep Students Visit Jambox Studios in NYC
Prep’s Music Tech Pathway takes students to professional recording studio
Students in the Music Technology Pathway at Passaic Preparatory Academy visited Jambox Entertainment Studios in New York City on a field trip in March.
Students prepared for the trip by creating beats and writing lyrics for a rap song. Another student practiced for a cover song. Their songs were then professionally recorded by the engineers at Jambox.
Throughout the process, students were given tips on recording, equipment and mixing and were given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss topics in the music and recording business.
