The 8th-grade field trip to Clary Anderson Ice Arena in Montclair was one to look back on for many years to come! It was an inspiring and gracious, yet fun and silly experience. Many core memories were made during the field trip.
Many students reported that it was their first time ice skating, or it had been a while since the last time they had ice skated, and that this experience made them advance immensely when it came to ice skating and now they look forward to it as a future sport they may be into. Others said they enjoyed the rink and hope to visit the arena in the future for more fun.
Ms. Johnston, 8th-grade teacher at Prep, said: “I was nervous because I had never gone ice skating before. But watching my students overcome their fears was inspirational. I had a really fun time ice skating with my students!”
The wintry yet welcoming arena is one to stop by every once in a while, or always! Nevertheless it was a beautiful place to be in the presence of, something future Prep students hopefully will get to see!
