Dr. Geoffrey Korir was born and raised in the African nation of Kenya and is now a chemistry teacher here at Passaic Prep. Dr. Korir has a doctorate degree in medical engineering and biomedical engineering and biotechnology. The busy teacher kindly granted permission to The Boulevard Online to conduct an interview with Journalism Club students Kevin Valladares, Michael Coliente, and Julian Carrera.

Julian Carrera, Editor-In-Chief, is a senior at Prep.  His goals are to become valedictorian and study Digital Media and Communications in college. He enjoys watching the New York Giants, editing school news stories, and playing Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege in his free time.

Michael Coliente, Sports Editor
Michael Coliente, Sports Editor, is a senior at Prep. This is his 4th year at Prep. He enjoys watching soccer as a Chivas fan and is a Giants fan in the NFL. He is the varsity captain for the cross-country team and track distance team and aspires to be a sports journalist one day.
