Student-athletes from Passaic’s varsity sport teams were selected to represent the Passaic Athletic Department in “Athletes Reading Across Passaic” on Thursday, March 7.
Passaic’s athletes went to elementary schools No. 23, No. 24 and No. 25 with chaperones Kimberly Kenny, Erika Whilford and Steven Fernandez. The athletes read children’s books to the elementary-school students and led them in fun dances, dancing and talking to the kids during lunch.
