The Passaic girls wrestling team held their Senior Night on Monday, Feb. 5, at the new gym at PHS.
Nine seniors from Passaic Prep were honored as the team went up against Vernon, Perth Amboy Montclair, Manchester Regional and Mary Help of Christians Academy.
The team did very well, but there was no team scoring at the event. The girls wrestling. team is done for the season except for the individual Regional tournament, and if any girls qualify for the state tournament.
“The seniors had a great last experience as Passaic wrestlers,” said second-year girls head coach Michael Lightfoot. “They helped pave the way for future female wrestlers in Passaic.”
