Prep hosted a Cocoa & Cookies family day in the Media Center on Friday, Dec. 15.

Students brought family members to the event, where students and family had a healthy and friendly competition on who could make the better gingerbread house made out of graham crackers. They used a template to create the front and the back of their houses. Parents and students were given candy to decorate. While they were creating their houses, Prep staff members were giving out cocoa to every family member. At the end of the competition, families wrote their family names in a card then placed their houses on the countertop. Families voted on the best house.

- Third place: Dominguez family
The winners from the afternoon session were:

- Second place: Julmisse family
- Third place: Pagan family
