Students in the third and fourth years of the Video Production & Social Media Pathway visited William Paterson University on Friday, Nov. 3.
Pathway leader Mr. Schmerler and chaperone Mr. Coco brought the students to William Paterson to experience the school’s Broadcast Journalism and Radio programs. Students used cutting edge video technology in a studio and in the control room to create TV commercials for McDonald’s, taking turns on the air and behind the scenes as producers, directors, graphic creators and audio technicians. Then, the students experienced the Radio department by recording weather reports, getting tips from the faculty at William Paterson.
