The Recreation Department of the City of Passaic held its annual Trunk and Treat event on Oct. 28.
The event was held at Christopher Columbus Park by School 11 and on the nearby field. There were different activities for members of the community. There was “knock down the pins,” a corn maze, “throw the hatchet,” a train ride, face painting and a pumpkin patch. There were also several sponsors and organizations present. Mayor Hector C. Lora’s Youth Council was in attendance, as was the Passaic Prep Student Council, Junior Optimist Club, the Law Offices of Jessenia Caquias, First Net (AT&T), Certified Angels, ShopRite, and more!
The event was held to celebrate both fall and Halloween with members of the community, as well as anyone who wished to join. It was a moment to have fun and de-stress.
