Passaic Prep juniors Nelsie Abreu and Jeilyn Rivera both were nominated for the Partner in Prevention Award during the Annual Teen Summit on June 2!
Both students are members of Passaic Mayor Lora’s Youth Council. The award was for serving the City of Passaic by planning events and coordinating youth initiatives. They both love participating in community service projects like food drives, park clean-ups, and even created an event for those with special needs. They both have more than 20 hours of community service and both said they plan to continue serving Passaic to the best of their ability!
