The Passaic Indians football team suffered a harsh loss at the hands of rival Passaic Tech. Passaic lost 42-0 after trailing 35-0 at halftime.
The main players running the show for Passaic Tech were Passaic natives and twins Trashon and Travon Dye. Trashon led Tech in rushing yards with 45.
Passaic had 12 total rushing yards on 15 attempts. Senior quarterback Brent Rojas led the Indians with six rushing yards. Senior running back Jamiel Chalmers led the team in receiving yards with 17. Passaic fumbled twice.
Passaic faces Dickinson on Friday, Sept. 16, in Jersey City.
