VIDEO and PHOTOS from Prep’s Pride ceremony
Passaic Prep held a ceremony to honor the LGBTQ+ community and to herald the start of Pride Month on June 1, 2022, in front of the school.
The month of June is internationally celebrated as LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Around the world, the LGBTQ+ community celebrates in various ways. Many events are held to celebrate and recognize the influence LGBTQ+ people have had globally. The month of June has been chosen because in June of 1969 the Stonewall Riots took place.
