PHOTOS: Passaic’s King and Queen of Homecoming, 2021 

The music of the Passaic Marching Band filled Boverini Stadium once more to welcome students and alumni to the Homecoming Game against Bellville on Oct. 15.

 Before the football game, Passaic Preparatory Academy freshmen Angelie Aguilar sang the National Anthem. 

At halftime, the homecoming ceremony occurred. There were five kings and eight queens nominated for homecoming court. Prep had three seniors nominated for Homecoming King in Lucus Tellez, Christopher Yepez and Gabriel Rivera, and three for Homecoming Queen in Amari Gawthney, Stephany Negrete, and Aritzy Vaquero

Rivera was named Homecoming King, while Passaic High School senior Jacqueline Rodriguez was selected queen. They rode away in an army truck after the announcement and received crowns and awards. Army soldiers used a T-shirt launcher to give the fans who came to the game T-shirts. They also announced the PHS Class of ‘81.
