The results of The Boulevards latest poll are in!

The poll that asked Passaic Preparatory Academy students if they think they will return to in-person learning began on Oct. 15 and concluded on the evening of Oct. 23.

More than 100 students voted on the poll the first day it was posted, accumulating to 307 participants.

The poll featured three different options:

  • YES, but not until sometime after Jan. 1
  • NO, not coming back this school year
  • YES, on Nov. 1 after Phase 1

In all, 75% of Prep students thought that they would return to in-person learning this school year but differ over the time frame. Out of the 75%, 51% felt that they would return to school sometime after Jan. 1, 2021 compared to the 24% of students that felt like they would return on Nov. 1, 2020.

25% of students thought that they would not return at all this school year.

Update: The City of Passaic Board of Education ruled on Oct. 26 that Passaic Preparatory Academy, as well as the other Passaic Public Schools, will continue remote learning at least until Feb. 5, 2021. So Prep students were correct!
