Schedule for collecting learning materials at Prep
Students go back to school … but just to pick up stuff for class
Teachers, administrators and school security are back at Passaic Preparatory Academy this week.
That doesn’t mean school is reopening in person. Not yet, anyway.
With the District of Passaic schools currently in Phase 1 of the Schools Reopening Plan — completely remote learning — students found themselves working from home without textbooks. That changes this week, as teachers, administrators and school security have signed up to come to Prep and hand out all the materials students will need to succeed as long as this phase lasts.
Students receive textbooks, musical instruments, art kits, and study supplies such as rulers, post-it notes and marble composition notebook.
Monday, sixth-graders came in the morning and seventh-graders in the afternoon. Eighth-graders come in the morning on Tuesday, followed by ninth-graders in the afternoon. Sophomores and juniors are scheduled to come in on Wednesday and seniors Thursday morning. Groups are broken down by last name.
If you are unsure when to pick up your materials, follow the schedule, below.
