The 6th Annual Military Signing Day event was held at Sonia Sotomayor School 21 on June 10.

This event was hosted by the Army National Guard. The following three military branches were featured: The Army National Guard, The United States Marine Corps, and the United States Navy. Enlisted senior students from Prep, PASE, and PHS were in attendance. 

Prep seniors Paul Ayala and Sherlyn Mani-Serrano have both enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Congratulations to both Paul and Sherlyn, and good luck in future endeavors!

Valeria Merino-Garcia, Staff Reporter
Valeria Merino-Garcia is a junior at Prep and a member of the Editorial Board. In addition to the Journalism Club, she is actively involved in Dance and Chorus and participates in the Upward Bound Pre-College Program and More Than Bootstraps. Valeria is also engaged in many other school clubs, demonstrating her strong commitment to academics, the arts, and community involvement.
Sihary Ramirez
Sihary Ramirez, Editor-in-Chief
Sihary Ramirez-Juarez, Co-Editor-In-Chief, is a senior at Prep. This is her 6th year at Prep. She loves to edit videos. She wants to become a college professor to teach future generations about film and how to create/work with editing software. She’s also the biggest number one fan of Malcolm Todd.
