Prep’s very own Briston Ransom, a junior volleyball player for Passaic, was honored with North Jersey Player of the Week honors by NorthJersey.Com. Briston led the team to 12 straight wins to start the season before a loss to Englewood (Dwight Englewood).
Ransom has helped Passaic earn the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Passaic County Boys Volleyball Tournament. Passaic hosted ninth-seeded Clifton on Friday, and with a win would play fourth-seeded Paterson Eastside.
Briston has over 300 kills and 200 digs on the season.
