Students from the Gothic Studies class here at Prep enjoyed an engaging and enriching field trip on Nov. 19 at Ramapo College.
The event began with the class attending the campus performance of “Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors.” This play had an amusing take on the classic Gothic narrative, providing a humorous counterpart to the more serious literary story. When the play ended there was a short Q&A session with all the lead actors and the director, Lester Mayers, where students were able to ask questions related to the process of acting and even if Dracula would enjoy modern music.
Afterwards the students participated in a campus tour. Students explored the impressive architecture of the academic buildings and appreciated the scenic area that Ramapo College offers its students.
