The Passaic Marching Band, comprised of students from Prep, PASE and PHS, competed at a competition at MetLife Stadium called the Ludwig Musser Classic.
It was the first large-scale competition for Passaic this season. It is a regional competition with bands from NJ, NY, CT, PA, and VA. Passaic’s show for this competitive season is titled “Rise and Fall,” led by Prep’s own Drum Major, Lina Popoca-Sosa.
Passaic has two more weeks in its competitive season, continuing Saturday, Nov. 1, for the New Jersey States Championship at Mount Olive High School. The season ends at Nationals competition at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, Pa.
