After opening the season with two tough losses, the Passaic football team looked to get its first win of the season against Clifton on Friday, Sept. 12 at Boverini Stadium.
In the end, Passaic beat Clifton, 13-6, behind Justin Griffin with 135 yards rushing and a touchdown. Prep’s Edwin Hidalgo also reached the end zone, catching a 34-yard pass from Jamari Miller in the first quarter.
The team’s next game will be held at Boverini Stadium at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, on Senior Night versus Nutley (2-1).
