Fourteen talented students from the Early College program celebrated a significant milestone at Passaic County Community College (PCCC) during the 53rd Commencement ceremonies held on Wednesday, May 21, and Thursday, May 22 at the Main Campus Gym in Paterson.
These high school seniors began taking introductory classes in their sophomore year to get ahead. Following their junior year, they continued their studies during the fall, winter, summer, and spring, attending classes four times a week for two years. As a result, they earned up to 60 college credits, totaling over 150 college credits through high school.
Throughout their first year in the Early College program, these students demonstrated dedication and perseverance, earning their Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree with a focus on Humanities and their Associate in Fine Arts (A.F.A.) degree with a focus on Criminal Justice. By pushing themselves to excel in a challenging academic environment, they positioned themselves for success and gained a head start on their future careers.
Thanks to Ms. Fontalvo and Ms. Mulreany for their support throughout the Early College program. Their assistance was significant in navigating through the demands of the Early College program, and their contributions to the students’ success is truly appreciated. MORE PHOTOS, ABOVE.
