On Tuesday, Feb. 18, Prep’s Theatre Pathway students went to Drew University’s Shakespeare Theater in Madison, N.J., to watch “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
The play is a Rom-Com written by William Shakespeare around 1595-96. “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” takes place in Athens, Greece, as well as in an enchanted forest. The plot consists of forbidden love, fairytale creatures, humor, and exciting adventures.
The trip was chaperoned by Theatre Pathway teacher Ms. Morinho, English teacher Ms. DiRenzi and English teacher Mr. Coco.
After the performance, students took a tour of the Shakespeare Theater and got a glimpse of the show behind the scenes.
