A field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Jan. 31 was organized for AP African-American Studies, a new AP class consisting of all seniors.
The class is taught by teachers Ms. Spoelstra and Ms. Taylor to a class of 17 students. The trip was combined with PASE students who take the course as well. The ultimate goal of the trip was to educate students on the rich history of Egypt and how art can connect to African history.
