Prep held its annual Cocoa & Cookies event in the Media Center on Friday, Dec. 13, and once again it was a huge success!
Over 100 family members attended the two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, as Prep students brought parents, relatives and guardians to school to spend quality time and share cookies and cocoa. Students and family had a healthy and friendly competition on who could make the better gingerbread house made out of graham crackers. They used a template to create the front and the back of their houses. Parents and students were given candy to decorate. At the end of the competition, families wrote their names on a card then placed their houses on the countertop. Families voted on the best house in both sessions. First place and second place received rewards.
Ms. Lauricella, Ms. Reyes, Ms. Crocco, Ms. Breskic, Ms. Aquino and Mr. Vasquez helped run the successful event for Prep.
