Friday, Nov. 22 is National Substitute Educators Day!

So we decided to highlight one of Prep’s most valuable subs, Mr. Pineiro! You’ve seen him around the halls and filling in for your teachers over the years. And because he’s worked with Principal Bruce for years, we spoke to her as well to get her take on the value of good subs.

Michael Coliente, Sports Editor, is a senior at Prep. This is his 4th year at Prep. He enjoys watching soccer as a Chivas fan and is a Giants fan in the NFL. He is the varsity captain for the cross-country team and track distance team and aspires to be a sports journalist one day.

Stephanie Bautista-Flores, Photo/Video Editor, is a senior at Passaic Preparatory Academy. This is her sixth year at Prep. She is involved in multiple activities in and out of school, such as soccer, track and field, National Honors Society, and the Journalism Club. She enjoys spending time with friends and family. A goal she hopes to achieve is traveling the world.
Destiny Lopez
Destiny Lopez, Features Editor
Destiny Lopez, Features Editor, is a senior at Prep and has been a student there for six years. She has been a member of the Journalism Club for two years. Destiny aims to study marketing in college. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and listening to music.
