The Passaic girls wrestling team’s official season is right around the corner, with practices starting on Dec. 2.

Prep math teacher and girls varsity wrestling coach Mr. Lightfoot gave The Boulevard Online his time to be interviewed about the upcoming season, and we also hear from Prep wrestlers Damny Rodriguez, Chelsea De Dios, and Maria Perez.

Michael Coliente, Sports Editor, is a senior at Prep. This is his 4th year at Prep. He enjoys watching soccer as a Chivas fan and is a Giants fan in the NFL. He is the varsity captain for the cross-country team and track distance team and aspires to be a sports journalist one day.

Stephanie Bautista-Flores, Photo/Video Editor, is a senior at Passaic Preparatory Academy. This is her sixth year at Prep. She is involved in multiple activities in and out of school, such as soccer, track and field, National Honors Society, and the Journalism Club. She enjoys spending time with friends and family. A goal she hopes to achieve is traveling the world.
