Favorite part of working from home:

During this difficult time, my favorite part of working from home is getting to spend so much time with my 19-month-old son. He is growing up so quickly and working from home has really allowed me to be part of his routines throughout the day.

How has this new teaching experience challenged you?

It has been a challenge trying to manage work while simultaneously looking after my son. I’m still trying to figure out what works for me and my family. I am also missing real-deal, in-person counseling with students and seeing my colleagues.

Anything else?

This is a difficult time for all of us. I think it’s important that we give ourselves grace and patience during this time. No one was prepared for this and we are all doing the best we can.
