Passaic Prep to remain in Phase 1 through at least April 23 (Nery)

Passaic students and staff have been attending school remotely since the beginning of the school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Monday, January 25, 2021, the Passaic Board of Education approved the continuation of Phase 1 through at least April 23, 2021. In March 2021, the Board of Education will decide whether or not to continue in Phase 1, which is Full-Time Remote Home Based Instruction, or enter Phase 2, which is Hybrid Instruction one session days, on April 26, 2021.

This decision will be based on the COVID-19 tracking data and also the input from families, staff, and medical experts. Survey results show more then 1,700 staff and families of over 10,000 students. The Board of Education will continue to monitor health and safety conditions, vaccinations, and statues, as well as executive orders during the months of January, February, and March.
